Stage 2: Defining the Look and Feel
In this stage, the overall look and feel of the website were defined. This involved selecting appropriate color schemes, typography, and visual elements that aligned with the company’s brand identity. The goal was to create a visually appealing and cohesive interface that would enhance the user experience and effectively communicate the company’s professionalism and expertise.
Stage 3: Home Page Design
The design of the home page was developed next, focusing on creating an engaging and informative entry point for users. Key elements such as interactive maps, diagrams, a timeline, and videos were incorporated to effectively showcase the company’s projects and capabilities. This stage ensured that the home page would captivate users and provide a clear overview of the services offered.
Stage 4: Website Design and Tool Selection
Building on the home page design, the entire website was designed to ensure a consistent and engaging user experience across all pages. This included selecting the appropriate tools and technologies for creating interactive maps and diagrams, ensuring they were seamlessly integrated into the website. This stage focused on maintaining a coherent visual and functional flow throughout the site.
Stage 5: Prototyping
In this stage, interactive prototypes were created to visualize the final design. These prototypes allowed the client to see a functional representation of the website, confirming that the design met their expectations and requirements. The client was very pleased with the initial proposal, which helped streamline the development process.
Stage 6: Exporting Assets and Handoff to Development Team
The final stage involved exporting all design assets, including visual elements, interactive components, and detailed documentation. Custom 3D icons, created using Blender, were also included to enhance the visual appeal. These assets and interaction guidelines were handed off to the development team to ensure a smooth transition from design to implementation. This comprehensive handoff ensured that the design vision was accurately realized in the final product.
